How do I know which product to use to stimulate the correct energy center?

Reference to the Color Chart or the Aromatherapy Decoder Wheel will provide many suggestions on how to stimulate the seven centers (chakras) using music, color, essential oils and aromatherapy. Listed here is a brief guideline for stimulation of the seven main chakras. RED for the Root chakra ( physical vitality) ORANGE for the Sacral chakra (creative joy) YELLOW for the Solar Plexus chakra (intellectual vitality) GREEN for the Heart chakra (emotional balance) BLUE for the Throat chakra (communication and organization) INDIGO for the Brow chakra (intuition) and VIOLET for the Crown chakra (spirituality).

What is an essential oil?

An essential oil is a powerful, chemically complex substance contained within the plant material. They are the "life blood" of the plant. These aromatic liquids are derived from shrubs, flowers, trees, roots, bushes and seeds. Their distinctive components defend the plants from insects, harsh environmental conditions, and disease. They are vital for the plant to grow, live, evolve and adapt to its surroundings. They not only protect the plant but also determine its aroma.

Can I use the essential oils directly on the skin?

The essential oils may be added to other products such as the color baths, carrier oils for massage or diffused into the air with the proper diffuser. Caution must be used with direct application to the skin. Many of the "hot" oils can cause skin irritation. A good quality vegetable oil will dilute the essential oil and should be applied to irritated skin. The soles of the feet and the palms of the hands are generally safe areas to apply full strength oils. If applied to the hands use caution to avoid touching sensitive skin and eyes.

How will I know if the products are working?

All of these products are designed to be used over a period of time. The longer the use the more response will be noticed. We suggest using the color baths for three to seven consecutive days to experience its energy. Focus your attention and intention on the desired result as with any other body work.

The color bath stained my tub. How do I remove the stain?

The color baths will "cling" to oils in the tub and light fabric. They may also lightly stain very old porcelain. Caution should be used in very old bathtubs but for the most part any staining can easily be removed with a good quality cleaner.
